The sweet spot.  That’s what we aim for in our life together.  You’ve probably been to churches that are too demanding or not demanding enough; too formal or not formal enough; too rigid or not rigid enough; too faddish or too musty; too traditional or too non-traditional.  Our church seeks the sweet spot between extremes.

FPC Wayne is truly an ecumenical family of faith, made up of believers who come from a wide variety of backgrounds–churched, unchurched, and places in between.  But we are all wonderfully united in Christ.  We were the first congregation to gather for worship in the settlement that was to become Wayne, Nebraska, all the way back in 1881.  And we’ve been going strong ever since.  Here’s what makes us tick:

 Empowered by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, we strive to live out Christ’s Great Commandment (to love God and our neighbors) and Christ’s Great Commission (to make disciples, baptize, and teach).
