Worship is at the heart of who we are and what we do–both corporate and personal worship.
Corporate worship is more than entertainment, or the recitation of liturgical formulas, or an emotional experience, or the learning of a string of spiritual facts in a lecture format. Worship is a group encounter with the living, triune God, when we pray to the Father, by the Son, in the Holy Spirit; it is coming to life and sitting in the heavenly places with Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6); it is sharing the intimate communion that exists eternally between the Father and the Son as we participate by God’s Spirit.
Join us as often as possible (Hebrews 10:25) as we worship the living God together, every Sunday at 10:00 a.m., rain, snow, sleet, or hail!
Personal worship is being bathed in a life of prayer; it is rejoicing always, praying continually, and giving thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18); it is submerging oneself in Scripture, participating in the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4), being conformed to the image of God’s Son (Romans 8:29), and growing mature in our faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:13, 15).
Worship God by participating in the divine offices (a fixed-hour prayer):
