The session will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014, including the new class of ruling elders. Welcome to Jim Curtiss, who will be ordained as a ruling elder on January 19! And many thanks to Kent Pulfer, who will be leaving the session after two terms.

COMMUNION

We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper on Sunday, February 2.

High School Youth: 1/8 and 1/22

Jr. High Youth: 1/15 and 1/29

Please note that, since there are five Wednesdays, we are “off” a week. Bring a friend!

 

ANNUAL MEETING

Our annual congregational meeting will be after worship on Sunday, January 26. If you are responsible for a particular ministry (e.g., music, nominating, church school, property), please submit a brief report to the church office (fpcwayne@gmail.com) by Monday, 1/20, at noon.

 

BROWN BAG BIBLE STUDY

Pastor Ray’s Bible study through First Corinthians will continue on Tuesday, 1/21, at noon in the WSC student center (room TBA). If you are interested or have questions, visit with Pastor Ray.

 

WAYNE FOOD PANTRY

We had another busy year at the Food Pantry. We are so thankful for the many donations that were made. We had 138 visits to the Food Pantry in 2013, and distributed over 1500 backpacks to the Wayne Community Schools.
